The airline recently made its first flight from San Francisco to New Delhi. Ultimately, this codeshare agreement underscores United`s intention to strengthen its presence within the nation. Chicago airline passengers will be able to book 68 Vistara flights from February 28 to 26 Indian destinations. The United and Vistara agreement offers customers a simplified experience in planning travel between dozens of destinations throughout India, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Goa, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Udaipur, Varanasi and more. Lufthansa said it had entered into a “comprehensive codeshare agreement” between Vistara. The codeshare agreement allows United Airlines to place its “UA” design code on 68 Vistara flights to 26 destinations per day. including, but not only in Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Goa, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Udaipur and Varanasi. Vistara Airlines has entered into a codeshare agreement with Lufthansa to offer smooth travel to destinations where it is not present.
The two airlines already have an interline partnership. Vistara is the second airline after Air India to have a codeshare agreement with Lufthansa. The codeshare agreement means that Club Vistara members can now accumulate and redeem CV points on United Airlines flights and vice versa. Codeshare targets include Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Goa, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Udaipur and Varanasi.
